KUWAIT 2ND INTERNATIONAL OIL AND GAS CONFERENCE AND EXHIBITION

November 2006

Kuwait 2nd International Oil and Gas conference and Exhibition will take place in Kuwait during November 2006 under the patronage of H.E Sheikh Ahmad AL-Fahad AL-Sabah, Minister of Energy, and under the chairmanship of Mr. Farouk Al-Zanki, Chairman and Managing Director of Kuwait Oil Company.

This years conference will be distinguished for its focus on new trends and for the quality of topics and speakers. The conference and Exhibition will work as a platform for getting professionals together to improve communications, promote dialogues, and present new trends technologies.

The conference in its second year will establish itself as a meeting-place for Oil and Gas business executives, governmental representatives, politicians and others representing all major participants in the Middle East Oil and Gas market.

The conference this year will address the critical issues of future oil and gas supply considering the great debate about Oil reserves depletion or Peakoil. The conference will also seeks answers for the question of will we continue having cheap energy as in the case of the 100 years. What are the new technologies available today or will be made available in the near future to ensure the continuation of cheap energy.

CALL FOR PAPERS:
The technical program committee is pleased to invite you to submit your abstract within relating to Peak Oil issues including:

• Global Oil Reserves
• Peak Oil Timing
• The Role of Gas as a Substitute for Oil
• Implications of Higher Oil Prices for Future Economic Growth

SUBMISSION OF PAPERS:
Papers for oral and poster presentations will be accepted based on single-page abstract on Word submitted to

Authors should provide name, their position and their affiliation in the abstract.

Either full manuscript or the abstract can be included in the conference proceedings. Submitted manuscripts will be peer reviewed and selected papers may appear in a technical journal.

DEADLINES

• April 15, 2006 Abstract due
• July 15, 2006 Notification of abstract acceptance
• August 30, 2006, Registration due
• October 7, 2005 Final Conference Schedule
• Papers for presentations at the conference will be accepted based on the abstract only. Full manuscript is not needed for the conference, however, those submitted will be included in the conference proceedings.
• Authors of accepted papers who participate in the conference will get free registration which include everyday luncheon, banquets, and proceedings.
