The Institute of Value Management

Tony gained his extensive experience on large construction projects in the commercial, health and retail sectors. His first 10 years were as a senior planner/project coordinator for contractors. For the past 22 years Tony has been the principal Consultant for a variety of commissions that include both construction projects and non-construction business change programmes.

 

His construction experience includes both design and construction expertise. Process focused he has developed many easily tracked management procedures for all aspects of the projects from inception, design, through to commissioning and occupation. His design control system for example, enables the design development to be easily tracked as it progresses. Tony has also been selected as an Expert Witness for a major Client and has been instrumental in rebuffing several major project claims.

 

Tony heads up the Facilitation Team. He is a qualified Value Manager and has a passion for workshops as a means to improve decisions and accelerate the process. He regularly runs Project Workshops for Initiation, Team Building, Problem Solving, Design Co-ordination, Risk Management, Value Management, Close Out and Lessons Learned.

 

In addition he is also assisting the Chartered Institute of building and the Association for Project Management to prepare guides for Planning and scheduling.
